Sherrie helped me remotely stage my rental property that is up for sale, using FaceTime (I’m in CA and Sherrie is in NC). I initially sent her photos of the house staged with a bare minimum of furniture, which she studied. I am amazed by how Sherrie helped me dress up the place to look like a model home – and I was able to use my own stuff (I maybe spent $18 on small houseplants)! Sherrie made suggestions for pieces that were needed in each photo. I showed her (via FaceTime) various items and furniture from my personal home that I was willing to spare for the staging. For example, the room at the property needed a couch but I didn’t have one to spare – but I did have two cushioned chairs and a coffee table. She had me gather a creative cluster of plates and vase to dress up the kitchen table (I never would have thought to do this!), a grouping of large books on the coffee table, and artwork for the wall. She understands what the buyer will be attracted to and suggested I swap out the kitchen chairs for my home chairs. She has a keen eye for color themes and the best flow for the eye when navigating through the house. After I put in place what we had discussed, we FaceTimed again while I was in the property. With a better look at the props in place, she guided me to make minor changes until everything worked just right. Aside from Sherrie’s great designing skills, I found her to be kind, patient, respectful, and encouraging. Plus she’s a fun person and I found myself laughing with her along the way. I highly recommend this service by Sherrie at First Impressions Home Staging!!
